Francine Rutgers
The best CV does not always mean the best candidate
When we meet candidates, we don’t just discuss their professional background and ambitions. Finding out what makes them tick is just as important. When we meet clients the trick is to find out where or how the candidate that we’re trying to find for them can make a difference. Matching their requirements to the right person for the job – that’s what gets me out of bed in the morning.
My first love was the world of advertising. After ten years of working at advertising agencies and holding an in-house managerial position in marketing communications, my career took a different direction. A recruitment agency saw those qualities in me that they considered key for the consultants in their team. It made for an unexpected match that laid the foundations for the work I do today. The establishment of Herman Rutgers in 2008 was the icing on the cake – it gave me the opportunity to take things to the next level, and run a business. I’ve found my perfect match, and I love helping others find theirs!
